I like it. I understand the Hendricks love but I would have a hard time taking him over George/Black/Dick.
 
I claim no expertise in this matter, but for what it’s worth, here’s my current Lottery Big Board.

I could see Walker easily being a bust. He’ll get minutes because of his defense but I think there are real question marks on everything else.

I don’t like combo guards.

Dick is fire and I think people got tired of the early hype. He jumps off the screen and his advanced numbers pop too.

Honestly it’s a glut right there and don’t have strong preferences among the group (except that I just don’t like combo guards, I have not done a real dig on George and I’m not even hating.)

I do just want to stress that I think Dick is somehow flying under the radar.

I am not as high on Walker either and sounds like a lot on here see him more in the 8-9 range rather than 5-6.

Scoot over Miller has basically been the default all year until recently when people seem to be getting bored or want to shake it up.

Miller feels safer for sure. But the Jazz should be swinging for the fences if they get a chance. Jabari Smith will probably be a very nice NBA player. But he also seems to have a pretty obvious ceiling as an offensive player.

Maybe Scoot is Westbrook but that is like a worse case scenario at this point. He also seems way more cerebral as a passer. I’m taking the upside all day, especially in the Jazz current situation.


We’d be lucky and thrilled to have either, of course.
