2023 NBA Draft Megathread

So my co worker said to me this morning: "Ask those jazzfanz guys (he isn't a member) when they think the Purdue big man will be drafted and what kind of role or minutes they think he will get in the nba."

So lets hear it.
End of second round or undrafted…he’s Boban basically… may play a bit here and there.

Mid 2 as someone is happy to gamble with his physical dimensions. He is likely gonna play backup center and look really slow and clunky playing against NBA level spacing and athleticism.

Probably early second round. Slight chance at late first, but I doubt it especially as he is limited, is older, and there are only 28 first round picks this year since two teams had tp forfeit theirs.

Crazy that Edey was national player of the year and averaged 22 points and 13 rebounds and 2 blocks per game and he is a player that might not be drafted at all. Man, I bet he wishes he was drafted in the 80's or 90's.
Anyone think he comes back for his senior year after that disappointing loss?

Not sure how much the nil money is but I’d stay if I was him… he likely doesn’t change his nba outlook… finish your education cash a check… then start getting those other checks.

Zero chance he goes in the first.

If Jackson can keep making cushion threes and get the dt's off Hawkins to free him up. Huskies going to the final 4 easy imo.
But Jackson missing cushion 3's and Hawkins choking with to many hands in his space seems more probable.
Love what I am seeing from some of the secondary optons on these teams that have green lights with less game planning on them.
At the end of he day you cannot discredit a Hawkins for a bad game when he is crowded, but you should be questioning any of these guys that chose not to give 100% because they are afraid to look bad or something. Brandon Miller is the last person I would draft with options in the top 5. I would take him as a bpa at 6 or 7 and no higher. He might make me eat crow because the skill set is NBA solid. But his head and heart are all over the place imo. He has to have Alabama personal security detail following him around to protect him from assault. Think about the pressure that has put on him.
I wish the kid well if he really was gullible enough to not know what the gun was gonna be used for. But until its all over and he is cleared. I am not giving him a pass either

Flip getting the **** kicked out of him… literally. Let’s see how he responds.

IF Whitehead can improve his D I can see him being a KCP type in the NBA. Dont think he will be much of a self-creator at the NBA level, but athletic in the open court and capable of getting his 3 off with quick pull ups and off the catch.

I was wrong about Flip… he’s not the third best prospect in Duke… I’m very sorry.
