Why Can't Gordon Hayward Rebound?

I think there are lots of things I would like to see Gordon improve on, and rebounding is one of them. But I fully expect him to pick up his production as the season progress and they all get more comfortable with each other and what Ty is trying to do. Way too early in the season to get concerned with much other than Bell playing more than five MPG.

7th in Defensive Rebound Rate, 16th in Offensive Rebounding Rate, which is good. Reason the differential is in the negative is because opponents have a LOT more defensive rebounding opportunities than the Jazz do.

I opened up this thread expecting to hear Gordon had a bad break-up with his girlfriend and just couldn't get past it.

But yes, I agree. I'm not a stats whiz, but I would suspect if the Jazz could actually shoot the ball, points scored would go up and opponent's rebounds would decrease.

It's his stinking T-rex arms.
That's why he's incapable of rebounding unless it drops on his head.

Or a fart in the general direction? Who can tell the difference?

If you can't tell the difference between a fart and elderberries, I want to eat mexican food with you.

What if the fart was after you ate elderberries?

Weren't we talking about Gordon Hayward's rebounding?

Look.... What's that?

0 rebounds at the half against Grizzlies. I know our starting bigs aren't the best at blocking out, but Hayward still needs to put forth some effort on the glass.
