2023 NBA Draft Megathread

Would be insanity on the Jazz's part. I think teams are realizing this draft is about 16-ish players or so deep and are trying to jump into that range.
Yeah, makes sense. There seems to be a drop off around 16. But if they think there are some cats they value over other teams… something something…

I'm guessing they want a potential starting quality PG and you have to move up to get one of JHS/Wallace/Bufkin.

The latest Intel is creating a clearer picture. It looks like Washington will pick Black at 8 and we'll be picking Hendricks or Walker at 9.

Could all be smoke screens, but it feels like the message is getting more consistent.

TJ says on the Drive...

Jazz really like 9 and 16 and will move up but aren't going to trade the farm to do so. Have not made specific offers yet. Not in on #3 pick as of right now.

At #9 - Mentions Ausar, Black, Hendricks, Walker. Says there are 5 guys in that group that we could be happy with (outside shot at Amen). Also mentioned Cam. Take any of them... fit doesn't matter.

I'd add Ausar to that list. Guessing today on the guy that falls - Black/Hendricks 20% shot at falling each... Walker/Ausar - 30% shot at falling each.

I'm good with any of em.

IDK, I think I've spent way too much time on draft analysis that I'm nitpicking and now I'm focusing on how each prospect might dissapoint. I'm having hard time feeling excited about anyone.

They're all going to bust!

That’s what it seems like. Walker or Hendricks. I guess the only question is if Ainge is content taking whoever falls or wants his first choice of this tier.

Somebody listened to Locke today!
