2023 Trade Rumors and Gossip Involving the Jazz

Nah. I’d rather keep Mikal Bridges. He has a chance to be a real breakout star moving forward. Especially since it looks like Scoot is probably going 2nd overall. Going to be really interesting to see if trades match they hype in this draft.
Yeah, me too. That would be like trading Lauri for that pick. The chance that any rookie turns out to be as good as Bridges is really slim. He's also on a great contract.

it would be exactly like trading lauri for that pick - and simons too though. simons definitely moves the needle.

Lauri better though. Was bridges an all star and all NBA last year? (I think Lauri was but could be wrong)
Is bridges 7 feet tall? Is bridges the first player to have over 100 dunks and 300 threes in a season? Did bridges win most improved player award? Does bridges play for the jazz? (I'm a homer)

bridges averaged more points, was nearly as efficient and is a better defender. he wasn't an all-star because he didn't start playing his current role until after the all star break. here is the list of people who averaged at least 26 ppg and TS% of 60%+

embiid, doncic, lillard, sga, giannis, tatum, booker, kyrie, zion, mitchell, durant, curry. that's the list- basically a list of the greatest players in the league. and about 3 of them are even in the same stratosphere as bridges as a defender. And Bridges has never missed a game in his career.

when you combine scoring, efficiency, defense and availability, he is pretty much in a class of his own. an all-nba type player considering who he became with brooklyn with an increased role and opportunity.

Does he play for the jazz though?
