I'm going to set the O/U for Walker 3pt attempts at 20, so if he plays every game, about 1 every 4 games.

Over but I don’t think it will ever really be a huge weapon… best case scenario is like a Baynes type of corner three shooter imo. I just don’t buy the mechanics and the FT shooting still looks like ****.

This will be like the Ben Wallace or Kendrick Perkins post up to start games… okay big fella we fed you a shot now give us all the dirty work we want.

Sarah Todd did an article where it seems like Hardy wants him to shoot if he gets it.
If that’s the case the o/u should be a lot higher. I think he’s only made one I can remember that wasn’t at the beginning of the game or second half.

I don’t love it personally as I think duck ins and deep post is more valuable as a tool (to be switching teams) but as long as the three isn’t a huge focus and he’s working on FT shooting way more then whatever.

I thought about doing higher, but it felt kind of ridiculous to go anything over 20. Like if he shoots 10 in the first 20 games and makes 1, will it still continue? IDK.

He has taken 4 in 4 pre-season games, so maybe I should have gone with like 35 or something. It was a tough one to figure out a number that would evenly split people.

His mechanics in those gym videos looked pretty consistent. Its not the prettiest but consistent beats pretty all day.

In games its all over the place. He probably needs to develop a rhythm even if it slows the release a bit. Concerns both FT and 3P.

Walker developing a corner 3pt shot where he can't be totally ignored by the D would an absolutely fantastic development. But he has a long way to that point.

Hitting 70% of his FT's is a much higher priority.

I think he ends up with 30 to 40. He's parking himself in the corner quite a bit and is going to be left wide open. I think Hardy is telling him to let it fly when the ball swings to him.
