They have really sunk themselves over the past 20 years. I remember on my mission we had what we called the "perpetual Burger King fund," where each receipt invites you to take a survey that gives you a free Whopper with the purchase of fries and a drink, so we'd save each receipt and keep redeemed free Whoppers in perpetuity. But the service has been unbearable, to the point that we almost never could go to BK. Then they ended up closing the one by us (that we essentially had stopped frequenting), along with a bunch of other BKs around the state. For as much as everyone complains about McDonald's, those bastards know how to stay in business and keep people coming (and quite timely relative to BK).
