The Biden Administration and All Things Politics

Trump often took credit for a rising stock market when he was president between 2017 and 2021.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average hit a record high last week, topping 37,000 and surpassing the previous record set in 2022. In a 2020 debate with Biden, Trump said that if Biden won the election, "the stock market will crash."

Biden defeated Trump in the 2020 election.

In an attempt to give a populist and anti-Biden twist on the new record stock market high, Trump, a self-described billionaire, told a crowd of supporters in Reno, Nevada: "The stock market is making rich people richer."

Trump is a lil bitch

Roseanne is disgusting. The type of over the hill has been drawn to Donald Trump and Trumpism. Desperate for attention, no matter how depraved and obnoxious.

I’d love to hear her define what a Stalinist is. Does this really sound like someone who knows what they’re talking about?

Go home Roseanne, you're drunk, you're stupid, you're irrelevant.

Voters cited a number of policy areas that disappointed them, including insufficient moves to address climate change and Biden’s inability to fully cancel student loan debt or codify Roe v. Wade, as the president deals with a closely divided Congress. However, Biden’s response to the Israel-Hamas war may be having the greatest effect on his relationship with this voter bloc.

Austin Kapp, a 25-year-old living in Castle Rock, Colorado. “I mean, he could have codified Roe v. Wade"
While Biden and Democrats pushed to codify the protections of Roe at the federal level, congressional realities made legislative efforts impossible. A vote to codify Roe in May 2022 failed in the Senate, with Biden lashing out at Republicans afterward and urging voters to “elect more pro-choice senators this November, and return a pro-choice majority to the House.”

Camarena’s feelings toward Biden now are worse. She works for CalFire and is passionate about addressing climate change. She says she was “turned off” when the Biden administration approved the controversial Willow oil drilling project in Alaska.

“It made me really angry,” she said. “He painted himself as, you know, trying to advance or improve climate change.”

The NBC News national poll, conducted more than a month after the start of the Israel-Hamas war, shows 70% of voters under 35 disapproving of Biden’s handling of the war.

So voters are saying they wont vote for biden because he isn't cancelling student loan debt, he isn't addressing climate change, and he isn't making abortion more legal/accessible.
Do these people think that not voting for biden and helping trump win the presidency will get student loan debt cancelled, help with climate change, and make abortion more legal and accessible? Trump wants to do none of that.

They also think that biden hasn't handled the israel/hamas war well. Its not our war! What is biden supposed to do? From what i have seen he has been trying to get cease fires and trying to tell israel leader to stop/ease up on the attacking. Isn't that what he should be doing?

Voting for Trump instead of Biden because you support student loan debt relief, abortion rights, climate change, end to the Israel/Hamas war, would be the very definition of cutting off your nose to spite your face.

You’re so, so close. It isn’t “the voters are saying”, it is “the media claims the voters are saying”. The media is an unreliable narrator. If the story they’re telling you doesn’t make sense, it is probably because you’re not getting the whole story.

You correctly deduced the Israel-Hamas war is not our war, so is not Biden’s fault. The abortion issue was caused by the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision, also not Biden’s fault. Lastly there is climate change which was going on before Biden got in to office and America isn’t even the largest polluter globally. Biden can easily be seen as not at fault for causing climate change even if some think he could have done more to combat it. All of the problems are not Biden’s fault. It is not Biden’s fault. That is the narrative. It is not Biden’s fault.

The main drivers of Biden’s collapse aren’t any of those issues. I know this because the NY Times did an almost identical poll and had an almost identical narrative, but they included an additional question that gave the game away.
“What do you think is the MOST important problem facing the country today?”
Guess how many people answered, “The Middle East/Israel/Palestinians”?
One percent.
Note that less than 1 percent volunteered abortion, 2 percent answered “gun policies,” 2 percent answered “climate change,” and 1 percent answered “racism or racial issues.” Compare that to the 26 percent of self-identified Hispanics who answered, “the economy.” Or the 19 percent of those in the age groups from 18 to 29 and 30 to 44 who answered “inflation/cost of living.” Or the 15 percent of those age 65 and older who answered, “immigration.”

Now you may be saying that Biden doesn’t have much to do with the current state of the economy, but the problem is that Biden has been saying the opposite. For months now the Biden campaign has been using the term ‘Bidenomics’ in press conference after press conference. They wanted to own it, and now they own it. The friendly media is doing their best to misdirect and it is resulting in narratives that, as you yourself caught, don't make sense.

You’re so, so close. It isn’t “the voters are saying”, it is “the media claims the voters are saying”.
And you know this how? What young biden voters have been out on the street interviewing? How many? What are they saying to you?

I know this because of the polling done by Siena as commissioned by the NY Times. The total number in the poll was 1,016. Not saying to me, saying to the Siena pollsters. Look at the data instead of the talky-talk trying to spin and explain away the data.

Sorry, I don't trust polls
I like actual quotes from real people better

Odds are they just won't vote. Which is as good as a vote for Trump.

It feels like an off-shoot of cancel culture. I'll just cancel him and it will fix everything because I showed my displeasure. People incapable of thinking past their right to protest and not taking any consequences into consideration at all.
