Should Hayward be benched?

After being traded Baron Davis style? What a disappointing player he has been. What does he do well besides release early while the other 4 are securing rebounds?

Package him with AJ for Rashard Lewis and Nick Young.

At least he doesn't just chuck one up every time he doesn't know what to do with the ball. He can usually get the pass to an open man.

Sometimes I wonder why I respond to posts like this...

Hayward should not be benched and I'll tell you why...

Because SCORING is not the only aspect of this game... There are fundamentals and defense... Seen Hoosiers lately??

This guy hustles, he blocks shots, he can break his man off of the dribble, and he passes like a passing PG... When people were calling for Bells head, it was because he wasn't contributing ANYTHING to the team (not so the case anymore)...

This guy is contributing in other ways besides just scoring and I find it very shocking that you would post this after 2 of his best games of the season where he's done nothing but fill up the stat sheet, in more ways than 1....

Two weeks ago, your post holds merit... But posting this today makes you look unintelligent...

Trying to get a rise out of somebody?? A little baiting maybe, going fishing??

What a bunch of pathetic homers. One guy disagrees with your saviour and he's automatically a troll...

Hayward has not learned a single thing from his rookie year and extended off-season improvement opportunity. NOTHING.

As far as the trade, yeah, it was a bit spurious, but Nick Young is cheap and bad *** and Lewis can be amnestied for the price of one year's worth of new CBA profit sharing. Isn't it amazing how quick you are to call someone a moran while putting absolutely nothing of substance into a post?

Yes, the NBA looks as crisp and sharp as I've ever seen them after the extended off-season improvement opportunity.

Do I spy a libertarian disagreeing with how someone else is using this board whilst also sporting a gender-norming signature? kool, braugh

Hayward is playing a lot better than last year at the same time. He faciliates the offense very nicely in the half court and could easily chuck up more shots to average as many points as your precious Nick Young. Why don't you go follow the Wizards? They "might" win 10 games this year with Wall and Young at the helm!
