No where in this part of the discussion did I say trade Lauri. I’ve entertained the idea at other times… just like you have. The ideal path is to draft in the top 5 with Lauri.

You are overly concerned with being right or wrong and keeping score… this playing both sides thing you keep trying to push on me is weird. There is nuance to these things… this isn’t some political issue where I have to vote and choose a side lol.

Hypothetically curious only, but what is the maximum that the Jazz get for Lauri in a trade

2024 17th pick, 2027 pick protection removals, 2029, 2031 unprotected, 2 pick swaps and Austin Reeves. That would be super tempting.

I would be inclined to do that and just tank. Trade off Collins to the Suns for their pick (you end up doubling the return on the Donovan trade from the assets you got from the previous trade which is crazy to think about), and Jordan Clarkson to the Bucks and so on.
