I’d be so stoked if we landed podz with those picks. Very good player to mix in with our young guys. GS should not trade him.

Write down this name: Miikka Muurinen. 17 years, blond curly hair like Lauri, 209cm as of now, will be as much of a great team player. Has solid shot mechanic, decent handle, great movement and decent defensive instincts. He's most likely our next NBA draftee in 26 class. Maybe not as good as Lauri in that age,but lots of similarities. Then y' all can just pretend Lauri never left, even though Lauri is a bit more handsome.
 
Spurs could put together a compelling package:
Keldon + Sochan + ATL picks ('25 ATL unprotected, '26 swap, '27 unprotected)

Rockets could offer Sengun or Jabari + Phoenix picks

Warriors can offer a package with Podz + post Curry FRP's

Those look to be the 3 best candidates offering a mix of young prospect + juicy picks.

The Don and Rudy trades were nice but unfortunately none of the draft picks are looking like future high lottery picks.

If I’m overrating the Bridges package, then it only makes the point stronger. Warriors can (for the most part) match the same picks and potentially more. The difference is that the quality of picks is higher from the Warriors (if you think NYK will be good) and the quality of the outgoing players is significantly better.

So the more you say the Knicks picks will be bad the more outsized you are making the “debatable” package of Kuminga+Moody+Every pick.

Another way to put this is if Bridges package isn’t as good as people make it out to me, so will Lauri’s.
