And when Zelenskyy, trying to address Vance’s comments says, as Trump begins to bellow, “May I speak….”, Trump says “No, you’ve talked enough already”. All a deliberate set up. In part designed to show Americans, when Ukraine is tossed aside, that Zelensky showed his true colors! He disrespected the Oval Office, he did not show he was grateful to us, did not thank us enough. (Vance asked if he thanked us in that meeting, as if he had not. But he said thank you in his opening remarks.) That’s why they wanted Zelensky to be triggered by Vance. That was the domestic reason for attacking Zelensky. Trump knows he is letting Putin have his sphere of influence.
We’ve favored isolationism before. 1930’s comes to mind. Personally, I think this new world order makes a much bigger war more likely, not less.
How stupid it all was, how stunningly lame it all was, to hear Trump, and his millions of brain dead apologists screaming “Russia, Russia, Russia! All a hoax!! Russia Russia Russia…..” Yep, that’s right! And those with eyes to see knew all along there was an unholy alliance in the making. And it had nothing whatsoever to do with the ideals at the foundation of our nation, the ideals and values we profess to be what we stand for. You know, the attitude reflected by patriot Thomas Paine, which I posted earlier.
Not anymore. Trump would love a new Axis of Evil, the world divided among autocratic Strongmen. That is what Donald Trump wants. As well as the implementation of Project 2025, who one prominent Trump apologist told us was, in so many words, a fiction of our imagination. Now we see Project 2025 in full implementation mode domestically, and an alliance with one of the modern eras mass murderers in foreign policy. Both weaken the United States. Both therefore benefit Putin. I don’t think it’s an accident at all.
