It's an insider article, but I'll post the rankings here with a little content about our boys.

1- Blake Griffin
2- Greg Monroe
3- John Wall
4- Demarcus Cousins
5-Tiago Splitter
6- Evan Turner
7-Paul George
8- Omer Asik
9- Nikola Pekovic
10- Patrick Patterson
11- Derrick Favors- "Only 20, will be a monster in 2 years."
12- Landry Fields
13- Jordan Crawford
14- Jonas Jerebko
15- Gordon Hayward- "Just when we think he's a bust, he has a beautiful game."
16- Gary Neal
17- Trevor Booker
18- Ed Davis
19- Greivis Vasquez
20- Timofey Mozgov

Agree? Disagree?

Not bad. That's about where I'd expect them both to be ranked. And yes, Favors will be a monster in two years. I have a lot of faith in him, but it's honestly going to be a few years before he begins to look dominant. Kanter on the other hand...I've got this feeling that he's going to progress a lot faster than most people are expecting.

pretty much spot on. I would switch Favors and Patterson though, and Fields should be ranked a bit higher as well.

I wonder if there's anything to take from the fact that Favors appears to be wearing a Warriors uni. Hmmmmm

Okay, that isn't what he said about Favors and you know it. he said he is "someone who will be so much better in two years"

Sure hope he is right. Hayward really is hard to figure out. just when everyone on Jazz fanz gives up on him he has a break out game.

Can someone explain why Patterson is ahead of both? How much has he played this year?

Agreed. I can't really make a strong argument about them being ahead of anyone else, but Patrick Patterson, really? Only explanation is that PKM = David Thorpe = UK Boner.

Hayward is a tough guy to peg because just when you think he's a definite bust, he'll have a beautiful game. There is an NBA player inside of Hayward, but until he learns to shoot, we'll probably see it only on rare occasions.

I think he's totally unfair to Gordon TBH. Definite bust? Even in his frustrating moments of inconsistency I never find myself thinking "this guy is a total bust"

^This! Hayward does everything he is suppose to do to stay on the floor. he just hasn't been shooting well. eventually, you have to believe that his shots will start falling more consistently or that he'll at least learn how to score effeciently in the league.

Just the Jazz players. Enjoy.

11. Derrick Favors, Jazz
Forget about any kind of "bust" talk concerning Favors. He's still only 20 years old and will be so much better in two years. Meanwhile, he's already solid on both ends of the floor.

The bust comment comes from guys who dont give a **** about the Jazz. They see stats and highlights and that is all. Dont get yourelves all wrecked over it.

For the record, I was shocked by Patterson's placement as well ..

not that any of this really matters, but still.

Maybe this is why Patterson is so high. They watch his and he does similar things as Hayward does that do not show up on stat sheets.

I do not know just inquiring.

I take anything written by David Thorpe with a grain of salt.

Worked out at his facilities = higher ranking.

Thorpe fawned over Fes for a couple of years. Almost as much as IGS and Kicky.

Lol yeah, I remember Thorpes infatuation with Fess. Didn't he start calling him "White Shaq" or "Baby Shaq".
