Agreed. Dumb trade imo
 
Feels like a very worthwhile gamble for the Rockets to me. From what I've seen they didn't even consider Brooks and Green to be positive contracts and obviously #10 picks are juicy, but they clearly felt short last year. I guess it depends on if they've promised KD a long new contract

Minnesota would have offered more probably, but KD wanted to be in San Antonio or Houston. That has to factor into it. Notice how the Jazz aren't involved, though they were willing to put assets on the table.

Let's see if the Jazz make a deal with Phoenix involving that #10 pick. Things should start moving with the KD trade being done. Toronto misses out on KD, but could include #9 in a trade package with Utah as well.
