Following Potential 2025 Draftees

Who's in Bailey's camp?
His mom and his one player agent :) :) :) :)
He needs to publicly tell everyone who he wants to play for

Ace Bailey’s camp has made it known they don’t want him drafted by the Jazz (or Hornets).

is there another link that works? because i haven't seen him or his camp say that.

also, Brian Windhorst is 100% correct here when he said: "You cannot run the Jazz and worry about whether a guy wants to be there. You'll never get anywhere."

The link works for me. Just couldn’t get the message to show up here properly.

what did it say and who said it? sorry, just curious because this would be a first.

nvm: it worked on my phone. it's just a report saying that and there are several of those where people have determined that on their own based on other things they are doing and have said - but Ace nor his camp have never actually been quoted as saying that.

take it FWIW, but i just heard from a very credible source that led me to believe that if Bailey is available and barring any trades the Jazz will take Bailey. to be clear, the source is about as good as it gets, but i'm reading between the lines just a tad, to come to this conclusion. so not set in stone, but it sure as hell made it seem they would go that direction. but make no mistake, they are trying to make some moves (not surprising of course, just something that was mentioned by this source)
This seems like a takeaway from listening to Locke’s podcast today

that's funny, but i don't think i've listened to david locke (other than clips of his show that have been posted on JF in the past) since he was on kjr in seattle in the early 2000s.

Pretty damn good list of players, but that list wont include the guys who got drafted and arent in the league anymore due to not being good enough.

Wonder why being Canadian isnt viewed more positively. They might have the biggest hit % among any country.
Canadians eat less junk food than Americans. That must explain it.

My favorites (no precise order here, but definitely a rough ranking):

Knueppel
Kasparas
CMB
Wolf
Essengue
Coward
Hansen Yang
Gonzalez
Fleming
Saraf

This exercise has taught me that if we can't get Kon at 5, then I'm obviously in favor of trading down and collecting some assets. It would be interesting to see a youth movement with some good connecting pieces. Given where we are at the moment, I'd be excited by a draft outcome of Kasparas + CMB (or Kon + Coward/Gonzalez).

In other words, we might be positioned to get some excellent connecting pieces this year. Sell off Lauri, Collins, Sexton, etc? and lose a bunch of games next year. Try to finish in the top 3 of next year's draft.
Nice list. I’d go with Kas and Coward.
