The fanboy in me loves the WCJ pick. Probably "lower upside" than a few of the guys who went later but he had the biggest stones of any player in the country. Won the Gators three NCAA games by himself.

Probably spells the end for one of Collier or Keyonte but at the very least he'll push both of them. I wager he's better than at least one of them before long.

Bare minimum, he's a dog, probably our best shooter / shot-maker out of the gate and should be a Day 1 contributor.

The Jazz weren't going to use both 2nd round picks anyway, the cost to move up was pretty negligible IMO.

He wasn't on my radar until earlier this week when Locke brought his name up when going over shooting graphs and success in the NBA becoming an average 3pt shooter. Guess that should have been a sign?

If he turns out to be an NBA level lead ball handler, this might be a steal. If he can't develop that well and is a combo/bench guard, it's a decent but not great pick.

I guess the actual scouts and teams werent as high on Kas as the internet analysts. I mean we traded up for WCJ instead of him, and we have more reason to go for young prospects than Miami does.

I honestly didnt spend a whole lot of time on WCJ, but damn, he is a really good shooter.

Purely because I knew him from the NCAA tournament I spent more time on him than his draft stock suggested I should and I ended up loving his shot making and... pure baller attitude. He is hyper competitive and he has a skill that can make you a hero or a zero with that attitude. I ended up ranking him really high on my board(no. 10 I think). I think he will be starting for us sooner rather than later.

I think he'll be able to do Brunsony things. I'm just not sure where he fits in the short-term. If he plays so well in the short-term that he commands minutes, I wonder if he pushes Keyonte or Collier off the floor? If we don't find new homes for Sexton and Clarkson, then the minutes-crunch is pretty severe.
