I need a picture of WCJ is a Jazz uniform so I can make it my profile.
You need to change your pick in the homer list too...I need a picture of WCJ is a Jazz uniform so I can make it my profile.
Matt Harpring says... NO! - (mumbles Boler from his lawn chair)Is Walter Clayton the best football player the Jazz have ever drafted?
Nah, Im Yang for lifeYou need to change your pick in the homer list too...
He isnt anything like Burke...First of all, Trey Burke played in the NBA for 9 years. He wasn't worth the 9 pick we traded to, but getting a 9 year guy in the latter half of the draft is a win.
Second of all, if you are trading all the vets then you need a dude with gravitas, someone to come in and set culture. Clayton is that dude. There isn't a single guy on the current Jazz team that has had the success that he has or done what he has done. That is why you get him over whatever flavor of the month people a whining about us passing on.
So who did they pass over that is so good (Steph Curry)?Speaking of which, the Nets draft was HILARIOUS! It reminded me of the Minny draft when they picked Ricky Rubio (5th), Jonny Flynn (6th), skipping over some kid named Steph AND then going for Ty Lawson with the 18th. 3 point guards in a row.
Egor Demin (Can't shoot, can pass)
Nolan Traore (Can't shoot, can pass)
Drake Powell
Ben Saraf (Pass first guard)
Danny Wolf (Point Center)
So funny!
Understood, but even if that were his floor, he was a successful pick. Dude is not going to be out of the league in 3 years. He isnt anything like Burke...
I think what he is saying is Trey Burke was the leader for a college team that went to the championship game just like WCJ. They are different players but they both led their collegiate teams to the championship game and both rose up the draft boards as a result of it.He isnt anything like Burke...
That's that not the point. They grabbed 4 pass first guys who need the ball in their hands to be effective. The question is which of those guys will have the ball? And who is going to actually shoot the ball efficiently when they all pass it around to each other? So who did they pass over that is so good (Steph Curry)?
You just draft 5 guys every year and keep the best one. Seems like a sustainable strategy. Next year draft rebounders.Speaking of which, the Nets draft was HILARIOUS! These are young balls of clay. We dont know how they turn out. That's that not the point. They grabbed 4 pass first guys who need the ball in their hands to be effective. The question is which of those guys will have the ball? And who is going to actually shoot the ball efficiently when they all pass it around to each other?
Suns showed us how it's doneWe likely need to get to 31-33. Please suggest how we do that for reasonable value. TIA
