The R.I.P. Thread

Wild to think I've been on that crazy train for 45 years. Been a fan as long as I can remember listening to specific artists when I was maybe 10 years old. Defined multiple generations of metal and hard rock fans.

He looked pretty haggard at the concert two weeks ago. Rocked it till the end.

Many days mowing the lawn with a walkman with a Paranoid cassette. Good times.

The best Ozzy memories are his guest-VJ spots on Mtv in the 80's when he was OBVIOUSLY stoned and strung out on coke or whatever. Those were awesome.

Did a lot of that myself with all sorts of Ozzy/Sabbath.

Kids these days have no idea how good they have it. Streaming, ipods and bluetooth headphones instead of a 2 lbs walkman pulling down your shorts, rewinding, etc. At the same time, I liked the more simple free range childhoods we were afforded and would not trade it. An ipod would have been nice though. :)

That show a few years ago with Ozzy and his son Jack RVing across America was pretty awesome. I liked the episode where they went deep sea fishing in Florida.
