What's new

Netflix recs?

Never heard of HBO and football right?
Of course I've heard of Healthy Body Odor and foot balls. Wouldn't wish foot balls on my worst enemy, makes walking so painful. But the Healthy Body Odor movement is just weird. Put some ****ing deodorant on your stinky MFers!

Watched the new Final Destination movie, totally delivered, I laughed a lot, it's a entertaining watch. Great send off for Tony Todd. Fun time.
This one is on my list.

Tony Todd was awesome in everything he did. From Platoon in the 80's to Star Trek in the 90's as the definitive Klingon to Candyman to final destination and all kinds of roles in between. One of my favorite actors. RIP

Thru Episode 5, Season 2 of Sandman. It's truly beautiful, and a wonderful translation from the comics, but it also makes me so ****ing angry at Gaiman, for being able to write this and then **** it all up with his personal actions.

Agreed. But yes sandman was really well done. I wish they had finished it.

I can see that they might be able to work thru just the Dream parts of it by the end of the season, I guess, but there's a whole lot that you'll be missing. The treatment of Wanda, for example, shows they really wanted to tell that story but just cut it down to a tiny piece.

Also a little pet peeve of mine…

Why is it always the white hero/heroine trying to solve a murder with a minority race actor/actress as the side kick (or lesser roles)?

- Bana with Untamed… (Latino sidekick)

- Foster with True detective (American Indian characters)

- Daniel Craig with Knives out (the Latino help)

- The Residence - detective is black but side kick is Asian.

Is this like a new “trend” or something?
Just started Dep. Q …

Started out REALLY slow.. but getting better now.

But again with the White main detective/hero with a minority race sidekick… (this time it’s a Syrian migrant).

How many more of these are we gonna get now???????

I watched Superman.
Pretty mixed feeling about it. I thought that objectively, using no emotion, it was horrible. But....... I was very emotionally invested. I was rooting so hard for Superman and I really ****ing hated lex luthor. I cared about what I was watching even though it was garbage. And I think the point of many movies is to engage with us emotionally so based on that it was a good movie.

I'm watched K pop demon hunters with my daughter. It was pretty great as far as kids shows go and my daughter absolutely loves it. I love watching and listening to her sing the songs.
Highly recommend any parent watch it with their younger kids.

I'm currently watching the latest final destination movie. I'm about 40 minutes in and I really like it. I'm liking it so much that I think I might start at the first movie and watch them all.
I know I saw one of the previous final destination movies but can't remember which one. How many of them are there anyway?

They have nailed it on Bloodlines so far. I will share my final thoughts when I finish it

I've always found Superman as a "hero" so ****ing boring that he could bore the arse into a wooden horse. I cant think of one good Superman movie, give me Darth Vader and Star Wars every day of the week.
