Hardy: "I think with guys like Kevin Durant and Jayson Tatum, we all know what it looks like now, and that can be distracting. So it was good for me to go back and watch a lot of that film and try to understand what the beginning of that road looked like."

The 3 assists (passing in general) was really nice to see. Ace averaged more games with 0 assists at Rutgers than he did with 3+ assists.

Yeah, totally agree. That whip pass to Big Nurk showed real feel and IQ. That transition 3 was incredible too, though I'm not sure Hardy was thrilled with the selection haha.

He had the oop to Hendricks kind of open, but transition 3's are one of the best shots in basketball, so I'm sure he was very thrilled.

I thought he should have passed there but whatever. Its pre season, he is a rookie, and he made the shot.
 
Most encouraging sign from SL + Preseason is that he's playing completely different than he did at Rutgers. It's an easier path for him to succeed and it shows that he's open and willing to adapt.

That one made me cackle. That is the pickup ball special. If you get a steal you get to chuck a three and go for the home run. He had no hesitation.
