If one understands the values associated with America’s 250 year old experiment in self governance, and one is not appalled by how far short Donald Trump falls from representing those values, there is something missing. Perhaps any knowledge of American civics is lacking. Or perhaps one suffers another politically inspired illness: owning the libs is considered as actually worth destroying everything America has ever stood for. That is not
an illness found in the Merck Manual any more than TDS is listed as a mental illness, but it is sick.

I saw that trump is lowering tariffs on coffee, beef and other food items in an effort to decrease the prices of those things. 2 problems with this:
1. I thought trump has been claiming that tariffs dont increase prices for us and they are not a tax on the american people and that the other countries are the ones who pay the tariffs. If he was telling the truth then why would he lower the tariffs?
2. Companies love profits. If we are paying the current prices then they are not going to lower the prices when the tariffs are lowered.

I think I finally understand what the tariffs are all about. trump is all about money. trumps people are also rich people who are all about money. I figure trump and his rich buddies figured out how tariffs can make all of them even more rich and came up with this plan:
1. Put high tariffs on everything.
2. Prices for the companies go way up, which sucks for the rich business owners but at least they can recoup some of the losses from the tariffs by having their consumers pay more for their goods.
3. Lower the tariffs back to where they were originally which gives the rich business owners relief from the high cost of tariffs.
4. Keep prices on goods the same as they were when the tariffs were high.
5. trump and all his rich business owner billionaire buddies rake in the dough.
 
trump also wants to send out $2000 stimulus checks. We all know that doing that will cause inflation and raise prices on everything.
Im starting to think trump was lying when he kept saying he would going to bring prices down.

You know, im starting to think trump lies about a lot of things.
