I won't start a poll because I've already started too many, but I think I could accurately predict where we stand:

- Posters who want to trade Lauri for whatever to preserve the tank - almost noone
- Posters who want to trade Lauri for a great offer and to preserve the tank - a handful
- Posters who would be open to trading Lauri for a great offer, but would prefer to keep him - Quite a few
- Posters who would not be willing to trade Lauri under any circumstance - a handful

I for one am fine with any and all polls.
I think I am more option #2 than #3 btw. It's close though
 
We can either:
-pull shenanigans to throw games and keep the pick
-trade Lauri to be organically bad and keep the pick
-forfeit the pick and lose in the play in.

I know which one of those I hate the most by a light year.

Do you want Jazz lose their only 2026 first round pick TO OKC? that'll happen if Jazz wins more than 15-20 games.
Jazz are ''too good'' right now with Lauri to tank hard for 2026 draft lottery.

So if / when Jazz goal really is to get that TOP3 / TOP5 pick then trading Lauri is a must some point this season.
If the goal is lose 2026 1st round pick to OKC then do everything what's possible to get Keyonte and Lauri to allstar game
and make sure Key wins MIP award and Lauri wins MVP award and both are selected to All-NBA 2nd / All-NBA 3rd team if tanking is not necessary.

But then you or anyone else Jazz fan shouldn't come here or Jazz facebook or instagram to whine and cry of that
Jazz do not have 2026 1st round pick and they missed Dybantsa, Peterson, Boozer and other elite 2026 NBA draft prospects.
I¨couldn't care less about of Jazz so called rebuild because i'm Bulls fan so it doesn't tickle my *** by any means if Jazz fail their rebuild and they stuck on mediocrity next 10-15 yrs.

The most games Lauri has ever played in season is 68. It's very likely he's going to miss at least 15-20 games this season, and we will lose the vast majority of the games in his absence. I think keeping our pick and keeping Lauri is still very doable. Keep Lauri, get a top 8 pick in the draft and then put together a roster that can start trying to compete next season.
