Jefferon for Bogut?

One thing people haven't mentioned is Bogut is a great passer. I'd do the trade just so I won't have the here the "AJ is a black hole" talk 24/7

With all do respect to the comments about an injury prone bogut his elbow issue that had him sitting out what like a year and a half was caused by a push from behind while going for a fast break dunk. It could have happened to any one.

As much as I like Bogut, he has an even more horrid injury history then Boozer and AK47 does, also all I've heard on this board is that we need to trade Al to free up time for the young bigs. It does free up time this year, but what about next year and the year after that.

Some one suggested we make him take a reduced roll on the bench, that's not an option for a player making 13 and 14 million the next two years. If we take on his contract does that mean we let Millsap walk. What happens to Favors and Kanter? It would hurt there morale. This is not a very good trade at all.

Answer to all your questions:

One, the rotation for this year is Millsap, Kanter, Favors.

Two, trade Millsap and one or both of our first round picks for a top 3 pick or an All-Star.

Three, that makes a lineup of Bogut, Kanter, Favors. Favors and Bogut start next year. Favors and Kanter start the next. Then Bogut's contract expires, he signs a backup deal (similar to Millsap's). The 4-5 is locked up for the next 3-8 years. With a three man rotation, that is 30+ mins a night for each one.

No morale hurt, Millsap can think he is the man on some other team and get eaten alive in reality.

If Bogut was healthy and didn't play so hard that makes him get hurt all the time then yes. Bogut is a great defender and he's one of the few guys in the league that plays with passion that you can see on his face every game.

Archie- I wonder if he was on a team with two other very good big men...if he would back off a little, play at 95% instead of 110%.

Nope. He is a smart, defensive oriented player but I think Kanter and Favors both have more potential than him.

Bogut is a true center so I like him, but he's also an injury prone all the time, and I'm not sure either, if it's because of his playing style or just because of his body.

If we look at it as in Al is the more valuable player, which i will. I think if we got more out of it, it would be okay. Maybe a draft pick, or Udrih. Udrih doesn't like Milwaukee at all and would fit much better than Harris does. But, even with that trade I would be hesitant. Especially since I believe Udrih will be a free agent anyways.
