Sorry trout but you don't drive the ball 360....

I will bet money and put a grand on it.

Most everyone thinks they hit it 300.... not many do. There is a reason why the OEM's have less than stiff shifts listed as stiff.

Only way you hit it 360 is if it is downwind in a storm like we had a few weeks back.

Only person I've seen hit it a true LEGIT 360 was the boys from Rosepark at the Utah State Amature and that was on the driving range. They even were probably not pushing 360.

Again... a grand and I will bring cash in hand Trout.

I would like to purchase a ticket to watch Trout try and drive it 360 + for $1,000 please.

Ive known probably 2 people that could drive the ball that far, so if you can, I'm truly impressed.

Played my first round of the season at Hidden Valley yesterday. It was brutal. Probably the worst I have played in 5 years.

I'm in on purchasing a ticket. I say we make an over under on the distance and we can all have our own little wagers on trout driving it 360. Maybe the line will go down to say like 320 yards to make it competitive.

I can assure you that there isn't more than maybe 1 or 2 pros or amatuers in all of utah that can hit it 360 yards without being downhill or downwind. It is possible, but very rarely done if when guys are swinging their a## off. All of the professional tournaments I played in I don't think I ever saw anyone hit it 360 without being downwind or downhill. An above average pro in length probably hits it slightly over 300 yards maybe 320 max.

I was a golf pro for 8 years in Arizona and Utah. Before that I had worked at a golf course since I was 15 years old. Started playing golf when I was 9 years old, got hooked. We would get dropped off everyday at the golf course during the summer, was an absolute blast. I quite professional golfing 3 years ago as it was tough to make good money, and I wasn't good enough to compete for big money. I still play probably once a month, but am probably only a 2-3 handicap anymore as I don't really practice any longer.

Here's my comment I left on the video.

I couldn't drive worth a lick. I was getting so frustrated because I could hit my irons and my hybrids pretty well and consistant. When I golf I usually use my Nickent 3dx 3 Hybrid to T-off with. I watched this video last night and went to the range today and tried out the advice. I'm not kidding you, it made a world of difference. I was consistantly hitting straight between 275 and 325 yards. I was having so much fun I hit two large buckets of balls. It serously helped mygolfselfesteem.

hehepeepeecaca. Someone learned to put...errr... I mean drive.

Also, I like how Trout went Katie_MCR on us.

Well, Jack-holes, I'd love to take your money n' stuff, but I never proposed that I could currently hit a 360 drive, other than a jab at dingleberry up there ^. I have, many times, over the years done it, but as I've said in previous posts, I haven't golfed seriously in years. I have no doubt, and I would put money on it, that I can out drive any of you here, even with my 12 year old driver.

But since we'll never actually meet up and find out, let's just assume that I'd kick your *** and you can just save your money. You're welcome.

Tomorrow night I will bring a golf club to the poker game. Ill have you swing it in the yard and Ill get a good estimation on how long you can hit it. I have 2 hole in ones and have also been to The Masters twice so I should be able to eyeball your distance +/- 3 yards, without you needing to hit a ball.

If there is interest, I will film Trouts swing and upload it here. Just need someone to PM me a few bucks to take care of shipping & processing etc.

Was I hitting the ball 300 yards today on the range? Yes! Was the wind helping me? That's none of your damn business.

Make sure it's left handed.

I can throw a football 90 yards, throw a baseball 108 mph, run a 4.0 40 yard dash, and I got a 48 inch vert.

A guy came into my office one time and saw a signed baseball on my desk and in all seriousness said, "In high school I could throw a baseball 300 yards. Also, I once hit 4 grandslams in one game while in high school."

Uggh, I hate people like that so much.

I never know how to deal with people like that. I never call them out because they won't come out and say they are lying. Also, a trashy guy about 30 once told me He held the record for the 200m or some **** like that in swimming and Michael Phelps was the one who broke his record and his whole family just sat and cried as they watched it. Also said he had a full ride scholarship to Florida to swim but "hurt his shoulder." Guy was from Utah btw.

I went to the driving range 3 times today and hit two large buckets of balls each time. I'm tired.
Coincidentally enough Trout went drove to a ranch 3 times today hit his two balls on large buckets each time and is also tired, but that story is more about a cow then golf.

That's my dad. He wasn't lying either.
