Jazz Locker room Cleanout & Exit Interviews

Milsap: I'll play the 3 if thats what I'm asked to do, but I'm a power forward.

Big Al: Kanter liked the attention, worst thing we did to him was give him the silent treatment one day. Plans to take Kanter and Favors to Santa Barbara for the summer--"Kanter wants to see the beach, but he don't know what he is in for"

Devin Harris: Playing time didn't tear this locker room apart. Its just part of the nba

Devin: Expecting another kid. Summer leauge will be big for the young players.

DeMarre: People always remember your last game. I wanted to show everyone. Says it sounds like Jazz will pick up his option for next year. Compares himself to Bruce Bowen, Thabo Selfalosa, and Tony Allen. Will play in the Summer leauge for the Jazz. Wants to have the best conditioning in the NBA. Locke says Demarre is the best dressed player on the team.

I think the Jazz make playtime promises to players when they sign them. That got to be the reason every worthless veteran starts shouting to the media when they're benched. They got to stop doing that. They have to make it clear that you have to perform to play. Nothing is guaranteed. Not a single minute.

Hearing Al's "I wanna retire in Utah" remark really Tuggs at my heart strings, in all honesty. Did DWill ever say that?

Well you will have plenty of time for Al to grow on you. Dude isnt going anywhere saying stuff like that. Jazz are the ugly nerdy dude hoping for any kind of tail. Jazz love the fact that someone wants to be here. And they are desperate.

Get ready for Al Jefferson to retire here.

And in Ty's defense about the "game-plan", you can't do much else with Al. You simply can't.

Kind of like that time we traded Okur for nothing after he said he wanted to retire here and mentor Kanter...........

Also count me in as not wanting Favors and Kanter learning too much from Big Domino.

In all honesty, I'd prefer favors and Kanter to work out with Millsap. I want Kanter to develop his passing skills

I can't comment on whether the Jazz do this or not, or even if it's wise or not. All I can say is that dudes well into their 30's and were never that good actually expect to get playing time on a young team over several years. That is just stupid.

This. Their P3 time is going to be offset with nightly dinner at In n Out.

If they learn to play real basketball, cool. Knock yourselves out. But they're going to be learning how to stop the ball and do a bunch of sick dance moves.

Lock Favors and Kanter in a room with Malone, even understanding that he's somewhere between a lunatic and an *******. The team could honestly use some of that.

Right? I cant think of a worse big man I want them to spend the off season with.

All Al's offseason regine has produced is a soft physique and nothing new added to his game since he came into the league. Pass!

wrong wrong wrong
game plan sucked

How do you run an offense with Al Jefferson on your team that doesn't involve giving him a lot of possessions on the block? If you know, you'd be the first person - let alone coach - to figure it out.

Yep. And what is this P3 exactly? Simple basketball-related physical training/drills? Because if so, **** that. I want **** where they're as intense as an infomercial dude as 3 in the morning about physical conditioning and every single aspect of the person's body and game. Something like the video I posted where Al gets his body fat down to 7% and becomes an absolute specimen over two insane months of working out.

just look at the last 2 games.
they Jazz offense worked when they did NOT do this.

Al needs a shrink more than he needs a personal trainer. If he's not committed to being a win-at-all-costs machine, he will remain the player he's always been.
