I know this is a provocative title to some, but please. . . .
I'm already having a very bad summer trying to cope with my Ron Paul disillusionment. Trying to think of where, in what dark corner of human nature, Hope can now be found.
Here's the best I've come up with yet.
Clever folks lots of times do attain their evil aims, but we can still hope that they will have to find out what morons they really are. . . . after bamboozling the public and even the illiterati elites and one another, the best laid plans can still fail.
Here's where I see the great Mitt con game will blow up. Understanding that Mitt is the nice guy "Obama" and that Obama was only a teaser to get folks in the mood to vote for a Mormon and all. Mitt will say anything to get elected, and the first thing he did was tell the great movers and shakers of fascist America that he was stupider and more compliant than anybody else, and willing to carry water for them without questioning their omniscience.
And understanding that a lot of Bible Belt "Thumpers" still believe Mormons have horns and cloven feet, and that Mormons are the eager servants of Satan Himself . . . . .
All that stupidity is sure to lay the goundwork for some unexpected results, and here's my prophecy of what will happen. . . . if Mitt is elected.
We'll get Obamacare, but a form of it that is fiscally sound even if we lose all our rights of making basic personal decisions for ourselves. . . .
The Fed will get an "oversight" bureaucracy and will have to release public accounting for all their transactions which can be read but not understood by the common man, but which will force several new layers of deceit to be implemented by the banker elite schemers and fleecers. All this extra work will result in even those fleecers becoming inefficient. . . .
The Great Data Center will be finished but staffed with temple recommend-qualified morons who will indeed implicitly obey every demand by management, but who will "go the extra mile" and create such a mass of data nobody will ever be able to find anything useful in it. . . . Like the temple ordinance rolls, there will be about one hundred to one thousand duplicates of every citizen, and the whole data center capacity will be exhausted before any "agency" will be able to crank out a useful list of "troublemakers" who need to be "treated special", and almost all of them will be dead folks who can't be located anymore. . . . because of course the LDS genealogical data files will somehow get into the mix.
And I will still be able to ride out into the sunset every night for parts unknown, singing "Happy Trails".
But the sweetest revenge reality will have in store is the consternation those Constitution-loving fundamentalist Christians will suffer from having Mitt standing in front of the Presidential Podium reading script about the divinely inspired "Living" Constitution that can be relied up just like Mormon Divinely Inspired Leaders. Oh, not to mention the huge credibility liability the LDS Church will have for the next hundred years with all the people just mocking their "Divine" inspiration theories.
I will here dedicate this thread to further predictions of a "hopeful" nature. . . . . like the actual viability of a third party in 2016 composed of liberals and conservatives who are first of all real Americans.
