Ric Bucher reporting Jazz have signed Randy Foye to a 1-year deal

Not a big Foye fan - mostly considering he was such a bust relative to where he was chosen in the draft.

As a back-up you could do worse.

Guess they're going to try to combo him though - had a decent 3pt % last year. Never made it as a point guard as a pro.

Like it. He can drain threes like a true bolla, shot calla, yo popped colla

It's getting in here, so take off all all yo clothes.

This comes totally out of left field. Read on ESPN this morning that he was their #1 unsigned free agent but he was asking for a multi-year deal worth the full mid level exception. Wonder if we spent the full MLE on him? Would be hard to believe that we'd pay that much for a backup combo guard.

Well there go my Jimmer dreams... up in smoke.
I'm sure he shoots the 3 better than Watson... maybe Watson is gone?

I don't hate the move.

He's got decent range...37% on his three's.
So does this mean CJ definitely won't be back?

*shedding tears

**crocodile ones

He's always been a decent athlete and active defensively. He was always a bit disappointing offensively, but then again some people were comparing him to DWade when he was drafted. I take it Mo Williams weighed in on the decision?

Wow! What's not to like? A 6'0" combo guard? His career 42%/33% marks? Though he has shot 37.5% the last two seasons I suppose. If he keeps his mouth shut, I'm fine with it but I think we needed a 5 more. Perhaps this is a sign a trade is in the works? Williams/Tinsley/Watson/Hayward/Burks/Murphy and now Lowry?

Burks is gonna get screwed in all this I have a feeling.

Yeah, but it's only a 1 year deal and it doesn't put us over the LT. Greg Miller told KOC to be aggressive and spend money, so I guess this is KOC getting a player he thinks is good. I'd rather have Foye playing backup PG than Watson, I think. Also, we need someone to blame all of our problems on.
