What's new

Breaking Bad (thread will have *spoilers*)

It's AMC. They can show Gus taking a boxcutter to a guy's throat and non stop meth production but God forbid they show any ounce of female nudity. They don't want to offend anyone.

Don't they show boobs in the pilot? When Jesse jumps out of the window and the chick throws his clothes out to him?

What's the tick tock sound at the end of episode? Any thoughts?

Read the previous page. There are a few guesses. Mine is that it was related to Skylar telling Walt that she had no grand plan, only to wait. He asked "wait for what?" and she said "for the cancer to come back." Then as Walt sleeps we hear the tick-tock of time going by and in my mind I was imagining cells dividing inside Walt's body and the cancer spreading.

My wife is pretty sure it was a gun being cocked. Maybe it's both, but the director said cancer was going to be part of the story this season.

You're correct (although the boobies were blurred out). When they made the pilot they were planning on either Showtime or HBO to pick it up. Neither did, so they shopped it to AMC and you can figure out the rest.

Cancer spreading tick tock is a popular theory.

Skylar cocking a gun?

Too bad it didn't end up on HBO or Showtime. Then they could have ramped it up a little more.
