Via @TasMelas: Reggie Jackson has replaced Eric Maynor as OKC's backup PG. Since Maynor's a free agent (RFA), could be another money saver for Sam Presti.

So Maynor lovers, he should be available this offseason. What do you think? Give him another go?

we love giving jazz men a 2nd chance... why not, i say cut the tinsly or watson cord and do it.

I can just imagine the contract negotiations: hey Eric, remember us? The guys who traded you for cash money? Ya, we were just kidding and all that but seriously, do you want to come back? You were actually kind of good.

(I'm a little bitter about that, and I imagine he is too.)

I was pretty excited when they drafted him, he was one of my top 3 players in that draft and I thought he would make a fine backup for years to come. I would love to get him back, but as I mentioned they have to get over a pretty significant wall because of the trade.

I'm a fan. Good young backup PG. Probably won't ask too much money cause of his injury. Much better than Watson.

There is a reason he's being benched. Maynor has been awful since he came back from injury.

Tinsley has done everything The Jazz have asked - he's played well coming off the bench, did a decent job as a starter and was buried at the end of the bench all without saying a word. Why you want to replace him with a 110 pound broken Gnome who hasn't played more than 15mpg in his career is beyond me.

Give up a second round pick to get him here tomorrow. If he auditions well, then get him a new contract.
EDIT: he should replace Watson, not Tinsley.

Even though I know we aren't a threat to the Thunder, I doubt they would just give him up to a team in their own division for just a 2nd round pick.

well, they won't get much more for him, and I doubt theyve received many offers. Presti won't dump him for nothing if he doesn't have to.

You mean kind of like the reason OKC is looking to deal him now? Granted for the Jazz it was because of Harp's contract, which dumping Harp was the why of the trade and to do so we had to give OKC Maynor. I don't know OKC's cap situation but depending they may have to give him away.

Yeah, I don't know about competing with agency rights and 28 additional teams in free agency, but I'd be receptive to sending a 2nd rounder or something of marginal worth like Evans.

Dammit, I just looked up Damian Lillard's game log for the first time in several weeks. Dude is absolutely beasting. ****ing **** ****.

Yeah if I were you, I'd quit checking his stats.
O Connor's going to need more than Prozac to get Lilliard out of his mind. Stupid GS
