What's new

No matter what kanter does he cant get off the bench in the 2nd half

SERIOUSLY, how frustrating must it be for him.

it's not like he got patrick ewing, alonzo mourning, shaq, dwight howard all in their prime in front of him.
he got al frikkin suckerson playing in front of him.
last 2 game she cant get a single meaningfull minute in the 2nd half.

this is destroying his confidence.
frustrating him.

geez why cant jefferson be injured for 10 games.

a 3rd pick who cant get off the bench in the 2nd half. wow.

thank you corbin for destroying our future.
thanks suckerson for showing him that hard work and defense dont get rewarded.
seniority gets you rewarded

Yes it is retarded.
Seems that corbins latest rotation idea is to play jeffy the ENTIRE 3rd quarter and then use a 3 man rotation (favors, millsap, jeffy) for the 4th quarter and leave kanter on the bench the entire 2nd half.

I hate it too

I don't like it either.
Enes may make a few mistakes, but I'd rather see him playing and making a few mistakes, because generally his good always outweighs the bad. It's pretty hard to take when Jefferdad is playing like ****, and still gets 30+ minutes a game... Somethings not right with that picture.

Come on Jefferson deserves to be out there. In the last two games he's 10-31 from the field.

You don't close out road games with rookies. You close out road games with veterans that have substantial experience playing lots of games for lottery teams. Big Al also has a lot more playoff experience than Kanter. You can't teach playoff experience.

Kanter was getting schooled by Gasol and Howard in the 2nd.
Uh, no. I just re-watched it to make sure. Seriously, your ******** is tiresome.

Gasol scored facing up against Kanter and once on the pick and roll (which Enes played extremely well). Dwight wasn't able to get position for the minute or two he was on the court at the end of Enes's run. Enes played solid transition and PnR D while he was in, set two very nice picks to free Burks and Hayward for buckets, and the team was +3 while he was on the court in the second. Dude was solid. Much better than Jefferson (albeit in limited minutes, playing a different role).

I'm excited to see how this plays out.

Using facts in posts, I mean.....

Kanter touched the ball one time at 1st half and it was a low post against Gasol and Gasol fouled him. Oh, and an unplanned 18 foot jumper. Gasol didnt schoole anybody he managed to stay in front of him. Whoever get schooled or get humiliated entire game it was Big Al. Im sure if he get an opportunity to get 14 fga, im sure hell not score just 5 of them or at least he would go to the line not just one ****ing time but more while trying to do it.

Another annoying part that Kanter not just playing lesser minutes he is getting lesser touches. The dude made his last 15 fga until that 18 foot jumper attempt last night.

He was 0-1 and 1 board in ~6 minutes. He was clearly outplayed by Gasol, and he was all over the place on defense. Howard was clearly out muscling him, even though the Lakers never got Howard the ball.

He wasn't bad or anything, but he definitely wasn't playing at the same level he has over the past 5 or so games.

At off-season after one of Kanter's good pre-season performances Corbin said something about giving much more time to youngsters. But all he get so far this season +0.8 mpg. ****ing ridicolous.

And after all the effort he made for changing his body and playing style at off-season.. looks like it was just for +0.8 pt.

How'd Jefferson do in his ~30 minutes?

Answer:
Jefferson was lost on offense and defense all night long. He never had his foot on the gas pedal and was rewarded with the typical Corbin loyalty.

So of he comes in for 6 minutes and, per your report, doesn't produce 'at the same level as the past 5 games' then it's indicated to GTFO of the second half?
