Kanter and Burks Not In Rising Stars?

Do you mean to say that giving a young player more playing time may help them become a better player? Wow, what a novel theory. LOL

That's good article and enough for the answer about rising star. Look at the list of players' min chosen for the game .

That headline could have come straight out of The Onion: "Tyrone Corbin Surprised At The Minutes Of Enes Kanter And Alec Burks". LOL

Maybe we could compose some others: "Tyrone Corbin shocked to find out that his veterans almost always fall way behind in the the first quarter."

The thing about Burks so far this season is that as he's gotten more consistent minutes, his performance has gotten better (there's a bit of chicken-and-egg nested in this statement, but whatevs). Dude didn't start getting regular minutes until Dec. 23rd, has been getting 16+ minutes since Jan. 25th (the last 11 games), and has been playing 24+ minutes since Feb. 4th (the last 6 games). His per36 stats over the different time periods:

At least statistically, what these numbers look like to me is that he's not chucking. Cue "that was Corbin's plan all along..."

It's embarrassing. What's worse is the continual justification for his decisions.

Yeah, as his minutes have increased, he's maintained his per minute production (points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks) while taking fewer shots.

I'll take it
