Millsap, Hayward for Granger, 13' first-round pick?

Tom Penn was just on Sportscenter and proposed a trade of Millsap and Hayward for Granger and their 2013 first-round pick. Penn said it was a trade that might happen in the next 24-hours and is a win-win for both teams and this is the second time that an ESPN analyst mentioned this trade. *Pacers pick is currently #23 and if this trade went down our rotation would look like this within the next two weeks when everyone is healthy:

PG Mo Williams/Jamaal Tinsley/Earl Watson
SG Randy Foye/Alec Burks/Kevin Murphy
SF Danny Granger/Demarre Carroll/Marvin Williams
PF Derrick Favors/Jeremy Evans
C Al Jefferson/Enes Kanter

A future line-up in the next year or so would look nice: a point-guard in the draft, Burks, Granger, Favors and Kanter potentially unless the Jazz re-sign Jefferson and just keep Kanter as a third big.

I would lose all faith in the world if this trade happens. This isn't 08/09 Danny Granger we are talking about here.

Am I the only one who has noticed Indiana is having their best season in about a decade?

Do you think Granger being out all year has hurt them or helped them?

13 Million per year for a guy who hasn't even played this year? **** no. Any trade that has us getting rid of Hayward better bring back a star. Dude is legit and the Jazz would be stupid to get rid of him!

Wait, isn't Tom Penn that candy **** who use to work for the Blazers? **** him.

Yep, just google'd. Was the Assistant GM for Portland. Dear lord I wish this guy was still in the league so we could fleece his *** in trades.

KOC: "Lillard + Hickson for Jefferson?"

Penn: "Dear god yes!!!"

No. No. No. Hayward might be a better player than Granger now and he certainly will be in the future.

Terrible. Granger is owed $14mm next season, then becomes a free agent. A re-signed Millsap + Hayward would cost about the same next season, and be far more productive.

They also said Rondo for Gortat and Memphis first round pick. Two horrible trades! ESPN just talking out their asses!

Fixed.
IMO, this is probably the WORST trade suggestion I've heard this year. Hayward is untouchable. He's been playing at Paul George-level since January. Give Hayward 38 mins per game (like PG) and he'll make the all-star team next season.

Wow...a late 1st round pick, we lose a good big with an exp contract and one of our younger/best players that the fan base loves? For who? Granger? Boycott the Jazz if this happens

I truly hope that I do not see any Jazz trade that involves Hayward, Favors, Kanter or Burks. Not no but hell no.
