KOC be gone

Hell the Oakland raiders can he competitive sometimes. That doesn't change the fact were still a mid draft early playoff exit team. The biggest trade he didn't make was for Harden I think. Lord knows we had the pieces

The comparison doesn't really work. The NFL's in a different world with league-wide profitability and mostly non-guaranteed contracts.

Mo Town, I expect more form you. you are usually right on the mark. I have to say i disagree with you here. lets be real here. It makes no sense to make a trade just to make a trade. It sounds like the clips wanted burks and Millsap in the deal for bledsoe.
If a deal to help the team wasn't there than it wasn't there. Why does everyone insist on Firing KOC and Lindsey? KOC is one of the better GM's/VPBO in the league. Lets look at who we could have. Kahn? Bryan Colangelo? Billy King? John Hammond? KOC and Lindsey are great.
A bit of sarcasm on my part that should have been more obvious. If a young 'un was needed to make the trade, then it would have been wrong to go down that path. Still, I'm concerned the Jazz didn't make a bigger commitment to Favors and Kanter.

Why would we get rid of KOC?

He drafted Millsap in the 2nd round. He also drafted Evans, Burks, Hayward, Murphy and Kanter - none have been flops. He signed Carroll when nobody wanted him. Signed Tinsley and Foye for cheap. Traded the cancer that is Deron Williams for draft picks and Favors.

People will point toward Bell and Marvin not being great choices, but we can't expect the guy to bat 1.000

He's given us a competitive team. Now it's up to Dennis Lindsey.

Drafted Millsap in the second round he is probably moving on after the season. Evans doesn't play. Burks hardly plays. Hayward is a bench player because he can't handle the mantel of being our future. Murpy is a nobody. Kanter hardly plays. Carroll is now on the bench again. Everyone will blame Corbin but look KOC isn't making his job easy. KOCs job is secure no matter what he does or doesn't do. Corbin on the other hand has to win in order to keep his job. If you were in Corbin's position you would play Al and Sap over the young guys also.

O'conner is a stud at finding talent in 2nd round picks and the d-league. As far as making trades. Minus the DWill trade he is possibly the worst GM when it comes to trades, or lack thereof. He's never fired a head coach. I'm not seeing why people think he's some sort of genius?

I thought we already established that need to be more clear about when you're being sarcastic.

For what a star isn't going to want to come to Utah. Maybe some vet to play infront of our young players. YAH!

So what I am getting from you is that you are mad that KOL did not trade for a star that would not want to be here anyways. So you are mad you cannot bitch about a star that doesn't want to be here?

God damn man. Go out, breath some fresh air and go find something to be happy about. I'd hate to live so down in the dumps all the time.

I am usually pretty supportive of KOC/front office but what they have done at the PG position still makes me scratch my head. Seems crazy that we re-signed both Watson and Tinsley. Hopefully Williams does not pick up his contract and with all the dough we have this summer can finally address the PG position.

I don't want him to, but I think Marvin will exercise his option for next year. He just hasn't played well enough to get much interest from other teams imo.

Actually I'm talking about all of our cap room. Here in Utah it is a pile of %#$% to get real difference making player. Well, we can draft them or trade for them in the case of Kanter, Burks, and Favors. Then when they sit the bench how willing are these players going to want to resign.

Mo will be back. Jazz can draft a young PG with one of their picks, re-sign Tinsley for 1 season and have Burks get some time at PG as well. Or they get a guy like Bledsoe or even Jack to put behind Mo.

I'm curious as to why you think we'll bring Mo back?

Tinsley & Watson have proved to be more than sufficient for us, given what Burks & Hayward also give us.

If we draft Burke - Tinsley starts, Burke & Watson off the bench. That's plenty IMO with Burks also stepping in if need be.
