I realize that a team cannot always start its best 5 players, but I'm wondering--who are the Jazz's best 5 players RIGHT NOW? Curious about what people think. Please vote for exactly 5. (Due to poll limitations I had to leave some players off the list.)

Gordon, Favors, Jefferson, Millsap, Then both Kanter and Burks I could not choose between.
This is the order I think they are in. I would still play Kanter over Millsap and Jefferson simply because he is close enough and hopefully a major part of our future and these guys are not.

Favors/Millsap/Hayward/Jefferson/Mo

Burks/Enes/Foye

Carroll/Marvin

That should be our rotation. I'm ok with bringing Gordon off the bench in place of Foye. We need to have the talent on the court and go with the big lineup. Burks/Enes/Hayward would then be our bench. Marvin and Carroll get minutes when needed.

Burks-Hayward-Millsap-Kanter-Favors. It's not even close.

Jefferson plays only on one end and could be considered, too. But I'm going with the five above. Jefferson does not make this team that much better, imo. He is the most overrated Jazz player.

Millsap, Al and Gordo have to be included. After that, it's a bit tougher, mostly due to a lack of playing time for certain players.

Just give this kind of minutes to Burks, Kanter and Favors and say if Millsap and Jefferson still are really that much better.

Since potential also has an influence on how good a player can be, it should also be considered when we talk about who the best player is.

Imo, Kanter and Favors are better than the duo of Jefferson and Millsap. Maybe not this year but for sure next year. At least they coexist much better.

We have a bad frontcourt which explains our need for good offense from the bigs. We tend to overrate the offensive aspect of the game since we are used to be a bad defensive team.

The five best are our 4 bigs and Gordon. I also think that Burks should be our starting pg until Mo returns and Watson should only play when Evans is in.

The top 4 are no debate: Jefferson, Millsap, Favors, and Hayward. Then I personally felt it was still Mo for the 5th, but I understand Burks as well. What's really sad is that we only have 2 of our top 5 players starting.

So, most people think that Hayward, Favors and Millsap are our three best. Why aren't they starting?

Taking the last 10 games into consideration, Burks is on this list. Hayward has been pretty good since coming back, and before he was injured he was playing quite well. Burks and Hayward add a sick element to the team. the fact that they can both create with the dribble is super exciting. The words of David "The Shill" Locke (I don't really believe he is a shill, but i find it amusing everyone on jazz fanz makes a case that he is) are fitting: "[Hayward} is a considerably better player than he was earlier this year . His growth is on course and exciting. Burks was solid [Last Night]. I am so impressed that he has linked all of these games without a burp. He has been consistent."

Burks and Hayward are, as of right now in the top 5. Favors has great length and athleticism and provides great D. I think he is maybe in the top 5. Millsap is there without a doubt. I love Jefferson as a good teamate and i think he is usually pretty good in the post, but like Devin Harris I don't think he fits the Flex offense very well. great dude though. Some nights he is a top 5 and other nights he isn't. it's that simple.

I'd say Burks, Hayward, Millsap, Favors, and Jefferson.

Hayward is in a good spot to be a non-starter and share time with the young-bigs. this is the best for the short term and long term. He's also a finisher, which is an indicator that his one of the 5 best.

Millsap is starting.

Favors is an obvious choice in the top 5, "regardless of position" as the poll stated. Jefferson (or Jeffersuck) is a polarizing figure here on the board and Favors plays behind Millsap.
