Bold Prediction on Kanter

Kanter will make his first of many allstar appearances next year. The 2013-2014 season

I think he goes into the offseason and kills it in the weight room. He comes back with an even better physique next year. He works even harder on his game. Forces Ty to start him, and its no looking back from there. I predict he averages 20 and 13 next year.

What do you think. Have I lost all my marbles?

Am I just being over reactionary to one game?

Kanter had 5.9% body fat before he lost like 30 pounds (I know he lost total more but that is after he gained weight then lost it). How much fitter can he get? I think he needs to get faster, I don't know how it can be physically possible. He might become more instinctive and be able to think faster.

The taste from the last couple games before the Bobcats still have a little bit bad taste in my mouth.

From looking at the bobcats forums one guy said that Kanter is like a more athletic Marc Gasol. Another said Kanter now is higher than Biyombo's ceiling :).

I still have hope Kanter becomes a taller Kevin Love with better defense.

I like that comparison to Marc Gasol (but more athletic). I think Gasol is better with the basketball, probably a better passer too, although Kanter is not bad himself. I also think that Kanter will be a perennial all-star, I've been espousing this since the preseason, the dude is a monster.

I think 2014-15 is much more realistic... he learns the art of starting next season, and really blossom the season after next.

Nobody forces Ty to give them playing time; only injury.

Yes, I was complaining about that.How can you deny talent that burried in your bench? Can somebody be this stupid?

It can be argued that this strategy had made Kanter become very HUNGRY for minutes and to do well when minutes are given.

As opposed to guys like Biyombo, Morris brothers, etc, who takes minutes as a given and don't improve.

Kanter = All-Star potential
Favors = All-Star potential
Burks = All Star Potential
Hayward = All Star Potential

All of them = Bench players, struggling to get minutes

TyCo = Big Boobs, jealous, clueless, dumb, no balls
KOC and Lindsey = 'again', 'no comment', 'sometimes, no trade is the best trade', conservative, scared, in love with mediocrity, no risks and no rewards

Favors and Kanter won't start until their Rookie contracts are over. The Jazz have the intention to bring back one or even both of Millsap and Jefferson.

Do you seriously think TyCo would start Kanter any time over Jefferson and Favors over Millsap? No way. I know what a douchebag Tyco is and that the Jazz front office will embrace this idea.

TyCo does rather praise his veterans and criticize the young players even when they play much better than the veterans. We only win because of the veterans, according to TyCo. I mean, Watson and Marwin play so good, according to TyCo, they deserve all the praises.

I have seen enough to know that the Jazz are ready to waste four young players with All-Star potential for veterans.

Or can someone explain me why Kanter does not get more minutes than his Rookie year despite his improvements? Same thing with Favors and Burks.

The Utah Jazz...
...where wasting young talents happens...

Agreed.
So Burks is the next Micheal Jordan.
Kanter is the next Hakeem Olajuwon.
Hayward is the next Larry Bird.
Favors is Wilt Chamberlain.

Ty isn't just going to turn Kanter loose, not his style, and if we're going to be real, didn't it take D-Will 4 damned years to be recognized as an Allstar. There's also the Utah factor. Even if he does break out it will take longer for players in Utah to get noticed, and there are a lot of talented proven Allstars in the west. I say 4 or five years from now considering all the the road blocks that stand in his way, plus I'm still not convinced he will be better then Favors.

For Utah to get two guys in the same Allstar game like Favors and Kanter, they'd have to be top 50 all-time kind of players like Stockto and Malone. Also don't forget Hayward who has less competition to making an Allstar game.

Except I see it like this

Burks- Jordan
Hayward- Bird
Kanter- Malone
Favors- Bill Russell

Agree, except can we choose someone else for Burks instead of MJ. still bitter. I want to like Burks ya know. How about Jerry West for Burks.

Burks:
Realistic case: A cross between Corey Magette and Evan Turner
Best case: Dwyane Wade past his prime/older days

Hayward:
Realistic case: Between Mike Miller and Hedo Turkoglu
Best case: Manu Ginobili

Favors:
Realistic case: Tyson Chandler
Best case: Somewhere between a younger and rawer Amare Stoudemire and Tyson Chandler

Enes Kanter:
Realistic case: A more athletic, smoother Nikola Pekovic/Zach Randolph
Best case: Karl Malone past his prime/older days
