Following potential 2013 draftees

Back away from the ledge spycam.

All drafts are relatively the same. There will be a few studs, some nice role players, and then some trash. And then every so often is a once in a generation player. That guy might not be in this one, but there will be some nice players. It just gets trickier where we are drafting. There will be 3 or 4 players available where we are drafting that will be good. KOC just has to nail it. But we'll get a shot for sure.

There will be some nice players, just no superstars. I'd say this will be only the second draft in the past decade with no superstar. I think Shabazz is the only one that has a chance at proving me wrong. He's the only one of the top perimeter players that seems to be able to consistently create his own shot. Noel will never be a good scorer and I don't think you can call someone a superstar unless they can score 20+ PPG.

Would anyone NOT take Favors/Kanter #1 in this draft? (with what we know now)

I think either Favors or Noel would go #1 for sure.

If Kanter were to enter this draft as well, without having played a college game, I think he'd go around 4-5, with Mclemore / Shabazz sandwiched in the middle.

I think Otto Porter & Nerlens Noel & Willie Cauley-Stein have star potential.

Cauley-Stein would be a risky pick in the top 5, but I think he has the potential to be the best player in this draft in 5-6 year's time.

Trey Burke has a dominating game with a win vs #9 Michigan St. In the win Burke had 21 points, 8 assists, 5 steals and 4 rebounds, I have a feeling that he might play himself into the lottery and possibly top-ten if he keeps playing like this and if they keep winning. The winning part is a big if though the playing like this part definitely isn't.

Who drops out? Smart? Porter? Len? Oladipo? People make a lot of blanket statements like that without considering there are others playing just as good.

Mason Plumlee? Gary Harris returns to Michigan St.? Michael Carter-Williams continues to struggle? People make a lot of blanket statements like that without considering there are other players that are struggling currently ahead of other players and forget the fact that they don't have to enter the draft.

I can only hope so. He's nice but not worth moving up for.

I think Mclemore has a chance to be a star.

He did shoot 8-17 and missed all 3 three pointers though...

I think he might rise a bit after the tournament - then plateau during the combine - then drop as we get closer to the draft.

His draft will be similar to Kemba IMO, the only difference is that this draft has probably 5 more talented players in the top 10, so it'll likely push Burke out to the #13 - #16 range.

Not that I disagree, but this draft is weaker than I ever remember .. at least looking the top of each.

Favors, 'Bazz, Noel, and Kanter would go top 4, imo.

See above.

I've said it a
Million times, but every
Draft is always the worst darft evarr!! While the next years draft is filled with franchise players.

Always an over reaction one way or another.
