Kirelenko in Trade talks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course, one question would be, Are the Jazz better off with a Diaw who plays 82 games per year than with a better defender in AK who misses 1/3 of the season with injuries, and is marginally effective in about 20% more because he is still recovering from his most recent injury?

Also... Getting under or close to the Luxury tax level also opens the door for additional moves down the road that may be impossible with the AK Contract.

Better off right now?... not likely by much...

Better off later this year, and next?... Probably so.

Even if this trade falls through, the fact that the Jazz are considering it tells us how desperately they are looking for immediate salary relief. This is all about salary cap concerns and has nothing to do with basketball. With two years left on Diaw's deal the Jazz need to pass on this. This trade doesn't make the team better, just relieves "some" salary concerns.

I love beach volleyball.

Has Diaw EVER played all 82 more then once?

What a huge F'n mistake if we pull this trigger. AK is the difference between champ / no champ.

DON'T DO IT.

Nice *** grab there Boris. You're really looking cut too.

I am kinda surprised that no one mentioned that if this deal is done, the Nuggets will not only get AK but also Derrick Favors, which would be the main reason I would not help facilitate the trade if I were KOC. If Favors reaches his potentials, he will be a big headache for us for years to come in terms of winning the division champ.

If they do look to trade AK, I would rather try to get Chris Kaman or Dalembert. At least they fill a need.

As other people stated earlier in this thread, we have to get more for this trade to happen. The salaries just don't match up at all right now.

-2 if you really believe that.
he has a point, we're still a piece away... and that piece may currently be on the team, Sap/Haywerd/CJ
but AK is that xfactor that goes beyond the 3rd piece... to finalize this team as a contender
he's the ron artest/odom, kendrick perkins, dennis rodman, bruce bowen,

diaw's an okay player, but teams have to prepare for AK because of his ability to get blocks in team defense. They don't have to prepare for diaw

Apparently there is more coming to the Jazz. Quinton Ross would also be coming!

Championship, baby! Championship!
