The truth is I neg rep him for a reason, not because I stalk him or just neg him for the fun of it. I've done that to 1 poster, NAOS. Hotttnickkk just makes ridiculously stupid or offensive post on the regular and I feel it's my duty to neg really bad post. Isn't that what negging is for? Too judge the quality of a post? Most post are completely neutral, while some are either extremely insightful for funny, while others are offensive or just plain dumb.

I'm sure Hotttnickk has failed to say when I pos repped him over this period of "pointless negging". I pos repped his original "The Bachelor" analogy because I actually thought it was really funny. I was sure if it was intentional or not, but nonetheless, it made me laugh my *** off.


I propose in this thread Hotttnickkk links us to each specific incidence where I negged him. I will explain my logical reasoning behind it so we the people can therefore judge the appropriateness of the negging.

I would do it myself, but I can't see the specific post in which I handed out the rep, I can only see the thread I did it in. I believe the receiver can see the specific post though.
 
Here is an instance in which I received a relation neg rep from Colton for a rep comment. This time it was from a repping of "The Thriller". I don't know if he reported me, or if Colton is just keeping a close eye on my repping activity.

This happened yesterday, which is why the memory is so vivid in my head.

I'm sorry, I just can't sit back and watch the loser mentality infect Jazzfanz. I feel that I am perfectly in the realm of appropriate negging to neg what I feel is rooting against the team I love. I fully support Thriller's right to say that he feels this is the thing for the Jazz to do, but I also fully intend to defend my right to neg his *** for loser mentality.

I've read the other thread in which Hotttnickkk claims "no reason" and all he post is the screen shot page with the neg rep comments. Those comments have no context if the posters don't know the contents of your post.
 
Go out and play basketball u guyz. Aren't ya all in SLC? Live close? Use it. You can talk about this rep thing on the court.
 
Alright Cy - let's do it.

The first neg I got was by posting this scouting video from DraftExpress which analyzed and questioned Porter's shooting form (8.07 minute mark). Not sure why I got neg for this I don't even hate Porter, I'm simply introducing a scouting video - people can make up their own mind IMO.

This next one we were just discussing whether or not Dallas would pick a PG in the upcoming '13 draft. My view is that they've not yet settled on Collison as their future PG and they're one of the teams that would be looking to draft Trey Burke. Again it's just my opinion, not sure why it deserved a neg.

This next one was a funny thread titled "Extend Ty Corbin" - everyone was just having with this, obviously it's not a serious thread. And no - I did not neg larryselbows - nor do I think anyone would neg him as it's absolutely clear at this point in the season that extending Ty is just a ridiculous idea.

This next one was a thread I started. At this stage I have had enough of Ty and was wondering if losing some games (and not making the playoffs this year) would make the FO consider firing Ty and not bringing back Big Al & the vets. I've always been quite serious with my posts in the past (since 2010), more recently I've also tried to "have fun with it" at times as well, keeping some posts lighthearted.

It's definitely not my intention to offend anyone here on JazzFanz. In fact I've tried to pos rep everyone who has pos rep me as best I can each time. If I have somehow offended anyone here, please accept my sincere apologies.

No, you manipulated the system to allow yourself to have the highest rep power then manipulated it further to neg me twice in 2 minutes. I have no problem with you negging me if you do it like us simpletons have to.

1. To the Otto Porter video. You presented the video like it was a current thing, when in reality, it was scouting video from his freshman year. You questioned his golden shot and for that, you were negged. Talking bad on OP is one of the most neg worthy offenses in the book.

2. The thing with Dallas was also another case of cheering for us to lose. "If we overtake them, we are much safer". Implying that we would should lose to get under Dallas just because they might draft a PG (which is a ridiculous assumption that they will since they have a need at every position.). But mostly it was just because you wanted use to lose games and be in the lottery.

3. I was defending Larry from bullying tactics. Ironically you complain about getting negged, but called for a neg train on someone?

4. You voted for losing and you acted as if you losing enough games to get the 14th seed would actually make the Jazz radically change the course of their franchise from if they made the playoffs and got the 8th seed. You really think that KOC is going to be like "Oh ****, we made the 8th seed let's re-sign the whole team". No, the Jazz have a plan and they are following it through with patience. Mainly, I negged you because you promoted and supported losing.



I'll give you that the 1st was within the realm of pettiness I, apologize. My OP love blinds me sometimes. The other 3 are legit though.

Hotnickkk only bitches when someone negs him with higher rep power than he. Admitted so himself on his own whinny thread. He in fact wanted a neg war with me. He is a hypocrite and I don't see why anyone would back him.

Cy for whatever reason colton has it out for you just let it die as hard and ridiculous as that may be. I agree with you but no one will stop colton.

As I just mentioned in another thread, there are no limits for admins in the rep system. It's just how the software works. There was no manipulation.
