Hate to be a downer, but at 25, if he isn't ready right now he won't stay. I guess it's just another tryout, but isn't that what summer league is for?

Anybody a closet Spurs fan who can tell me if Lindsey did this with the Spurs? Because it is new to the Jazz. Sure we've had callups before, but that was usually due to injury, not tryouts.

Thanks, I was about to post that he had likely been a teammate of Wes Matthews. Didn't realize they were teammates for the entire 4 years, though.

Thanks for the welcome. My favorite of the "three amigos" was DJ. (DJ was on track to be our leading scorer until his injury). They were all on our post-Wade-effect team. McNeal is typical MU-type scrapper. Excellent work ethic. Similar to Wes that way. Jerel had a prior 10 day from the Hornets. As you can see, we love our players. Hope he finds his spot in the league.

Still annoyed we didn't get to see Leslie play. Maybe he didn't pick up the system or something. I want to see another Carroll-like player who plays defense, hustles and does cool things like harass superstars. McNeal is a good defender and can hit the three, so I want to see him get garbage minutes at the very least.
