Let's look at the two trades made at the time Deron was traded to NJ.
NY - 3rd in the East
Denver - 3rd in the West
Brooklyn - 4th in the East
Utah....struggling for the 8th spot.
NY - Carmello leading the team, has scored 90 pts the last two games
Den - Their pieces haven't done as much, but play as great compliments to AI
Brooklyn - Deron still a great pg
Utah - uh...um...not a SINGLE player in that trade gets MAJOR minutes for this team. SIX players are deemed as more worthy of minutes than Favors. ELEVEN players are deemed as more worthy of minutes than Kanter. Either the Jazz suck at finding talent, have major problems at developing that talent, or have antiquated methods in playing players (ie, the need to "earn" it).
So far, the Jazz BY FAR, have been the losers of the Carmello/Deron trades. They gave up a top 3 pg, a top 10 player for no one that can get more than 23 mins a night, and isn't (in the Jazz organization's eyes) better than an undersized, scrappy PF who isn't scrappy anymore, and a soft player that is weak mentally, selfish on offense, lazy on defense, and doesn't care about winning C.
Jazz fans have every right to be pissed. We have payed for tickets for 20+ years, bought memorabilia, and kept the Jazz in the top 10 in attendance even though we haven't been to a NBA Finals in almost 15 years. The Jazz are damn lucky to have us, not the other way around.
The Jazz have lied to us the past two years, and have done nothing to show they want to do anything more than line their own pockets.
Oh, and to the players that don't like us booing, maybe we don't like having 9 soon-to-be-free-agents who only care about their next paycheck. You don't want us to boo, try.
