He kind of reminds me of Burks from what little I've read, and anyone who is like Burks will either take time from Burks or sit behind Burks on the bench which isn't necessarily what you do with a mid first round pick.
(well, other teams don't ;) )

Actually most mid-1st round picks sit on the bench.

Jazz need talent especially at the PG position. Worse case scenario he can take over for Foye. I have like the kid since his dismantling of Duke but I doubt he will be there at 17th. Another reason for the Jazz to miss the playoffs so they have a better chance of landing him.

This draft is about the Jazz adding depth to their bench and getting a possible solid starter. I highly doubt the Jazz get a superstar unless they roll the S&M dice.

You have a little fantasy you'd like to share with the rest of the class?

It involves you, Calipari, and

I know you guys probably think I'm crazy in saying this, but he reminds me of a smaller Kobe Bryant. The way he handles the rock especially.

I'm not saying there's a STRONG similarity there, just that things he does remind me of Kobe. His stepback and pullup have the same explosiveness and flare that Kobe's do. He's not the ball defender or the athletic powerhouse that Kobe is/was, but he does have some pretty glaring similarities in regards to parts of Kobe's game.

Do you think he is a better NBA Player than Burke or MCW? I'm not asking if you think he is a better PG, but a better player.

Burke > McCollum > MCW (for the Jazz)

imo

I like McCollums ability to shoot the ball and his bbIQ. I'm convinced he can be a pure PG that is also a scoring threat whenever needed.

I don't see the similarity to Kobe, but CJ McCollum does remind me a lot of SAM CASSELL. That would be a nice pickup if it panned out.
