You are wrong again or just ignoring reality on purpose. Stop focusing on speculation that they were true or not true atheists ( not even proven as they may have been agnostics) - it is not important!!! See deeper - ideology, power and economics - that was driving force in examples you gave - not atheism.

Read an interesting article (Time i think) about the difference between Islam and Islamism. How one is a peacful religion and one is a hate filled, violence inducing ideology.

I am not saying all muslims are bad and have terrorist potential. I have few teammates ( from Palestine, Eritrea and from Kenya) on my soccer team, all are great people. I hope all Jazz fans loved Memo, AK, Fes or Kanter based on their play and personality and not on whethere they were/are muslim, atheist or orthodox christian.
What is sad in all this storry is that these kids where given a chance to grow up in free western country and have normal life, yet they stabbed that country in the back by turning against it by commiting terror act and killing absolutely innocent people ( 8 year old kid included). If they hated living in USA so much why they just didn't leave? I bet Pakistan, Iran, Syria or Jordan would have been so much better place for them to live. Just a sick and sad storry here.

I get what you're saying about "given a chance in a free western world." However, the truth of the matter is that this isn't very true at all. Several Western European countries, Australia, New Zealand, and even Canada now offer better economic opportunity for those starting off from the basement. Economic mobility isn't what it used to be here in the United States. In fact, in not sure if we have ever seen such stagnation. Right now, if you are born in the lower class you will most likely die in the lower class. If you are born in the middle class there is a damn good chance that you will slip and will not be "as rich" as your parents were growing up.

What would have been interesting is if these brothers could have met other refugees in a Western European country, Canada, or Australia and then seen what they could have done. Perhaps today they would be climbing the socio economic ladder and be fine upstanding contributors to society.

This is an issue that America will need to address sooner or later. The economic stagnation which has taken place over the last 30 years is effecting whites, blacks, immigrants, Christians, Muslims, etc. Thus creating cesspools of prostition, crime, violence, drugs, desperation, etc.

It can't all be blamed on offshorig jobs because those other countries mentioned above have had to deal with globalization too. We just... Have let the nation's wealth collect at the top. The rising tide isn't raising all of our boats. Especially folks from this socioeconomic level.

That's pretty damn funny. Growing up in Utah I wondered why Mormons needed a separate seminary building when there was a perfectly good school building that they were already using to promote their views.

If god is dead everything is permissible. Also atheists don't have a concept of sacredness so they don't view human life as sacred.

How do you figure, doesn't Jesus forgive sins?
Seems that Christians have a pretty big loophole.
As long as they believe in JC, they can get away with pretty much anything.
They don't even have to fear worldly punishment, because they will still have the afterlife.
