Following potential 2013 draftees

I could see the Jazz offering #21 + #14 to move up. I think they would rather keep Burks than the #21 pick in this year's draft.

Whoah?!?! Hang on a min. here. Move up for who?? That's a lot to give considering how flat the talent is between #12 and #25.

LOL.. wouldn't it be funny if the Bucks traded up to get #13 - pick Schroeder THEN turned around and try to trade Jennings back to us?

It'll be like jumping in the supermarket queue and also letting out a big fat fart!!

I would be pumped if we could land the 13th pick while keeping the 14th and get Karasev and Schroeder, then either going with a backup big at 21 or Giannis as a project SF.

I always hated the idea of Mitchell being drafted as a SF like Wes loved last year, but I like him as a backup PF. Dude would be like Evans with bulk and power.

detroit has got to make a push to get Trey burke don't they? Hometown hero, true pg, and detroit has no coach, and 4 losing seasons in a row.

If Orlando doesn't take Burke #2 can pistons trade with Charlotte? Or will Charlotte take another pg and let Kemba Walker walk for nothing in a couple of seasons (see Raymond Felton and DJ Augustine)

I thought the same thing.

Do you guys think Dario Saric will be around at 21? Thoughts on his game? Defense? Set shot? Some mocks have had him gone well before, while others don't even list him.

It seems like there are some great project wings in this draft with Giannis, Saric, Bazz.

Lindsey Leaks Draft Targets

Jody Genessy @DJJazzyJody 21 May:Lindsey brought up this interesting fact: "We were evaluating players older than Gordon." Hayward turned 23 years old in March.

So clearly the Jazz have locked in on the 3 guys older than Hayward.

#14--Mason Plumlee C
23 years old; 7'0"; 238 lbs.
Duke, Senior

#21--Jeff Withey C
23 years old; 7'0"; 222 lbs.
Kansas, Senior

#46--Colton Iverson C
23 years old; 7'0"; 263 lbs.
Colorado State, Senior

With a little luck Jazz could land 2 of the three on draft night.

The topic is what the Jazz are willing to do to move up in the draft potentially. I'm predicting the Jazz would float their two picks to move up in the first round. It makes sense for them to see how far they can get with that. The target would probably be McCollum or Shabazz. Someone quoted Locke and was worried that they might trade Burks. I'm saying they would see keeping Burks as more valuable than keeping the #21 pick.

First of all, the Jazz are probably evaluating everybody, so that's really a non-statement. They're looking at a bunch of seniors.
