Hayward Over George Looking Good Still

I Don't Think George Is A Better Player Even Though He May Look Like It Now. Once Gordon Gets Stronger When He Turns Into A Man He Should Begin To Dominate. I Hope Jazz Fans Aren't Sensationalists And Give Up On Gordon.

George stepping up big tonight. I like Hayward, but George is no slouch. I wouldn't have complained if he would have been our pick over Hayward.

It definitely helps to get phantom calls in your favor on a three pointer with 2 seconds left in overtime.

Are you kidding me? The Heat flop nearly every play, and get away with plenty of fouls.
Commentators said Wade fouled him.

That sums it up about right. Both are good players, and I think both will do very well for themselves.

Do you like Boise? I did some kayaking there last summer and thought it was a great place.

George is the better player, no doubt. But did KOC really blow the pick? No. ALL the players who were drafted from 9-18 or so were bunched pretty tightly in terms of pre-draft rankings. Compare all those players and you'll see only TWO have turned out to very good NBA players. George is an all-star; Hayward is a solid starter. KOC didn't hit a home run, but he got a solid triple, unlike many GM's who struck out after he picked.

The lone thing that leaves me feeling good is that George would be lucky to get 20 mins under Corbin. So even if we had drafted the superior player, we would all be moaning because Hayward would be looking a lot better with 40+ mins with indy.

The bottom line is, we have sucked royally at giving this team over to the youngins. Indy, golden st, okc, even San Antonio has done a marvelous job in playing their young guys. I honestly cannot think of a dumber team out there. Maybe Dallas or lakers.

I still think if Hayward had the confidence and the lead scorer mentality, he could be doing everything George is doing. Hayward just doesn't have that mindset, at least yet.

Then again, put Hayward on a team like Indiana that doesn't have as good of individual offensive players as Utah and maybe he develops that. We saw that from George. In year 2 he deferred to Granger and was passive at times, but then was forced to develop the main scorer mentality with Granger injured.
