#1- The Wii U is selling HORRIBLY right now. It's been out 6 months and has sole 3.5 million units worldwide. If the Wii U wins in console sales I think it would be a major surprise.

#2- Isn't Nintendo known for having the best exclusives, but by far the worst 3rd party support? Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Super Smash Bros., Mario Kart, Donkey Kong. These all sell very well relative to the number of people that actually own a Nintendo Console.

Smash Bros. and Mario Kart are by far the best console games in the world. They are both games I played since I was 8/9, and continue to play to this day with as much **** talking and screaming to my friends.

Yeah I meant 3rd party support. Particularly blockbuster 3rd parties like COD.
It's true that the Wii U is selling horribly right now, but wait till 1- The price drop. 2- The blockbuster Nintendo game. 3- When people start realizing that it's a new console and possibly a new Wii Sports/Wii Fit.
The fact that it'll probably be a third of the price of the competitors gives it an edge.
My biggest concern with Nintendo right now is that the Wii U sales may've canceled development on some other games due to budget restraints.

I think the new Xbox and PS4 are going to have some trouble out of the gate. The biggest problem is that the difference between last gen and this gen's graphics was stark while the difference between next gen and current gen may not be as much to the average customer (Although, those PS4 screenshots looked amazing).
I really don't know if a lot of people care $600+$70 min worth for graphics.

PS4 has DDR5 ram XBOX has DDR3. Plus the XBOX is running three operating systems? I think it's PS4 right now and it's not even close. UNLESS you are a TV homer and thats your main focus. Not to mention you'll need to be paying for cable TV, high speed internet and XBOX live subscription. Thats a lot of dough! I'd much rather have the console that is made for gaming first and foremost. Plus that XBOX 1 looks like a VCR from the 80's! Sucker is HUGE!

Their reveal presentation yesterday was terribad. I have both a 360 and a PS3 but I hardly ever touch the 360. Bad UI, subscription based online play, no internal wireless card, generally feels kind of cheap. I loved the OXBOX. Just a huge step down in overall quality. Maybe they learned something from it but probably not.

I have both as well... Same situation for me Jules. I rarely play the 360. I haven't decided when I will get a PS4. I'll probably just rob PKM and then head on over to Best Buy to get the PS4 as well as getting up to date Jazz rumors.

I don't think there's any obvious "best console game in the world." Certainly not "by far." Depends on what you're looking for. A lot of folks are starting to call Dark Souls the best game ever. So there's another one right there.

demon/dark souls are game changers. instant classics. i would spend 600$ on a ps4 just to play the next game in the series.

If the new xbox requires an internet connection at least once a day then they just lost a customer.

I can't fathom why any gaming system won't let you buy the ****ing game and sit in a cabin in the middle of nowhere and play all day if that's what you want to do.

I won't buy either for a couple of years. But the PS4 certainly looks like it should be the winner assuming they don't screw the pooch.

Dark Souls is definitely my favorite game and Demon Souls was until Dark Souls came out. I would buy the PS4 because of that alone. But the issues I have with XBox is the deal breaker.
