Shabazz Muhammad - I think we need to stay away from him

Well, I doubt very seriously that a trade is going to happen for us in this draft class. There just aren't those primo players that justify our trading up.

I would rather we focus the first pick on a PG and then take a chance on a stud athlete with the 21 pick on a Tony Mitchell or someone that has length. I don't want us getting a player that is marginal on athletic ability and small like Bazz. I would rather continue to build on length and athletes.

I vote Tony Mitchell or the Greek Freak for the 21 pick. I doubt Giannis will still be there though.

Wow.. those measurements give me "some" confidence... He looked a bit "piggy" to me so I thought he must have quite a high body fat %, but he seems comparable to harden. Also the athletic testing # are also pretty similar.

I think he can succeed as a scoring/slashing SG. My only gripe is Harden is known as a team first guy, a playmaker. Shabazz is NOTHIng like Harden in that respect. He averaged 0.8 assist per game in college in 30 min. I mean that's lowwwww...
 
you guys do realize schroder played 31 games at 25minutes per, and never had over 6 assists once...

burks had a high of 7, in the nba, clearly he is ready for PG minutes before Schroder who will need time to adjust
 
Yes, that is one of the red flags on Schroeder I pointed out awhile ago. Their rules on assists are more stingy in the euroleagues though, doubt the league leader averaged more than 7.
 
I can not believe some of you want to trade away Hayward for an unproven Bazz. A guy who makes AL Jefferson look like Magic Johnson.

Yes. That was bad.. but I've been watching him for four years now and he never did that stuff before, that I had seen. I like to give a kid the benefit of the doubt... especially if I don't see a pattern. I can almost guarantee there's a bit more to the story. I have asked around but haven't ever been able to find out.

Seems to me the Jazz 1st round pick this year will be — best available player to pass, force or otherwise get the ball to Al Jefferson, then run off to the side, somewhere over there!....that is, if the Jazz resign big Al!
