Draft Day grade - A+

I mean, I don't think Burke is a bad pick. But for a bad draft, and hearing from multiple people that the PG's in the draft are weak, I just don't see him as a savior or center piece that a lot of people are hyping him to be. I hope I'm wrong. Then again, I may just be forgetting about MoWilliams/Tinsley/Watson.

Am I the only one who's not head over heels for Burke?

Great handle, low TO's high Assists, great shooter, spot-up and off the bounce. He's the perfect fit for our team, as well as BPA at #9.

Best of all, he'll bring leadership to the team that's been starving for one for years...

I liked McCollum a little more, but they had their choice and wanted Burke so it's good enough for me. The Gobert move is actually even more encouraging in a way - it shows Lindsay has communicated that to win, you can't be a cheapass. We need the ownership on board.

Edit: it should also mean I don't have to watch Mo chuck like crazy next year. THANK GOD.

Greg Miller has never been cheap. I really don't understand the hate towards Greg when it comes to spending. He has shown an open wallet more than his father and more than most owners in the NBA (especially those of small markets).
