in this game vs the jazz he scored 37 points, 8 rebs, 6assists
hes only 23
he appears to be displaced by Rudy Gay, and Terrence Ross.. they appear to be shopping him for the right S+T
perhaps the jazz could get him on sale???
this player has MASSIVE upside, and he would frequent the SC top 10 if he didnt play in toronto
plus he slashes like no one on the jazz, i like that, when this player drives the ball, good things happen
now his %'s are awful but he plays in blowouts, and probably tries to inflate his scoring stats, he is very streaky... which some really dont care for in the NBA but when derozan's jumpshot is on this player is almost impossible to defense
in the last month of the season(9 games) he shot 54% from the field and 50% from 3, and 81% from the line
if he can come close to that, playing a role as a piece and not the volume shooter, this player is well worth the 9 mil per year he will make
watch the highlights of the games where he plays well
Pure SG's are a dying breed, you have kobe, james harden, and D-Whistle
DeRozan has much room for improvement... (more than burks imo...)
to me heres the biggest selling point on DeRozan to the Jazz
we can surround him with shooters, Burke and Hayward
in Toronto hes been playing against layers of defense, because even though they have some individual shooters, they are a bottom 5 3point shooting team, so they Moved Bargs, DeRozan is next...
