Why does everyone hate alts?

What has an alt ever done to you?

I dont mind if someone wants to entertain me with numerous interesting arguments and stories.

It just adds more reading material, therefore everyone benefits

I propose a trial period where everyone gets up to five alts. We will try it out and see how it goes.

If it isn't for everyone then we stop the trial period and allow no more alts ( except the ones in place) after that.

Can we get some confirmation on alts here? I'm not around enough to keep up with all of it. Nobody's ever answered the vinyl question. I get that Hack is BluesRocker (or at least I presume) but never bought that he was vinyl and he's never commented on it. Hack knows too much Utah culture to be vinyl.

Too many alts are too obvious from the first post. Not sure who is barondavisisdonkey or the guy who Always Posts Like This, but at least the former is mildly amusing.

There's a right way and a wrong way.
