I feel like whenever a new poster gets on and the first thing they do is start a thread saying "hey all i am new" there is an 80% chance they are altish. Ill be honest, it took me 3 days before i could figure out how to start a thread... so if someone gets on and in the first 5 minutes that is their first contribution to JF.... they are most likely alts.
